My MOH is pregnant and might not make it to my wedding now.

I just learned that my MOH is pregnant and will be around 29-30 weeks at the time of my wedding. There is a huge chance she cannot make it. What should I do in the meantime? I have about 5.5 months until the wedding. Should I ask a friend to be a backup in case she doesn't show? I am soooo happy for her but if she doesn't end up coming? I am confused...Any advice would be soo great! Thanks!

I would say yes, go ahead and designate a backup. Make sure both of these ladies know the situation, no one likes to feel second best. I actually had to call on a backup moh, as my best friend wasn't sure she had the finances to make the trip. So now my "new" moh has been awesome. Helped with soooooo much. My best friend knew I had to do it, there are no hard feelings. Good luck with this! I'm sure everything will work out great for you!
