Question for detachable birdcage veils

I have a hair flower and want to add a birdcage veil to it, but I would like the option of taking off the veil part after the ceremony, leaving me with just the flower.

I will be DIYing this.

I was just wondering if there was an easy way to attach or detach the veil to the flower so I will not need to take the flower out of my hair to remove the veil. I have very thin hair, and am worried about fiddling with it too much on the day of.

 

I would love some advice on this one!
