Punta Cana- Riu Bambu vs Majestic Colonial

Hi Ladies!

 

This is my first post ever!

 

My fiance and I have decided to have a destination wedding! We definitely want to go to Punta Cana but we cannot decide on which hotel. We like the Riu Bambu and the Majestic Colonial. We know the Colonial is more money, but does that mean it's better? Can anyone please tell me what they liked/disliked about these hotels and what kind of group "perks" did you get? For example, if you book so many people the bride and groom stay free. Oh and we have two kids under 5 so we also would like input on that as well. I'm all new at this so tell me EVERYTHING!!!! Hey Tara , I'm having my wedding dec 4th 2013 at majestic colonial. We are in planning and booking room process and its alot more work than I thought ! We are staying from nov 30th-dec 7th and they came back with only 1 day and time that the only judge in Dominican can marry us! I guess they are getting booked very quickly for the year.
