Hello,

I saw a lot of posts about Grand Cayman weddings for 2009-2011 but I haven't seen anything recent.  I would love to learn from the brides who have already had their weddings and possible new brides planning their weddings.  Let me hear your recommendations.  We are looking to have a wedding ceremony and reception for approximately 40 people and want to keep it under 10K.

We are planning a weeding in May 2013 at the Ritz in the Grand Caymans. We used the planner at the ritz she helped us with everything. We are having up to 50 guest it is a little pricey. I am looking for ideas to keep everyone busy. We planned a 4 night 5 days for everyone coming we are staying a week. I hope this helps

Hello ladies,

I am planning on getting married on April 11, 2014 in Grand Cayman as a port of call aboard the Carnival Legend.

I would love to get married on the beach there. Any suggestions on locations that are budget friendly (less than $1500)? What are the details involved in coordinating a wedding between the US and GC?

I'd rent the beach at The Grand Cayman Beach Suites (GCBS) (we just got married there). Their wedding planner onsite (Marina Flynn) at GCBS will arrange everything for you including flowers, photographer, a wedding cake made on-site by Hemmingways (very good cake), and a minister (the minister gets a marriage license before you get there and then you sign the paperwork and he goes downtown and files it for you and gives you a copy of it. The US recognizes it.) GCBS offers a package with all of that and you should be able to do it all for around $1,500. There are different all in package options. Definately worth a call to Marina. You can tell her Samie her June 15, 2013 bride sent you. ;)
