I have been going back and forth with my Travel Agent and I figured since we are going to be working together for some time, would it be cheesy to formally introduce myself... Tell her a little about myself and my FI? Or would they not care to hear that kind of stuff? lol

I don't think so. I have developed a close relationship with my TA. She is a cornerstone in this process and I think that it's important for her to know and care about who she is working for, who's dreams she is helping to make a reality.

I don't think so either.  My travel agent is actually my sister in law to be, so we didn't have to 'get to know eachother'. However, we had loong chats about what is important to me and my 'side' of the family etc.  It can't hurt your planning process!
