We did the maracas as well!! I love when I go to friend's houses and see the maracas lying on a bookshelf or somewhere in their house! Such a great memory!

We did maracas as our wedding favors and they were a HUGE hit! We had one placed at every table setting and I tied a note on each of them (the size of a business card) and on one side it said:

 

"Instead of tapping on your glass, Heres a system with Mexican class. Stand and shake with all your might, To see the groom kiss his bride tonight."

 

Then on the other side we wrote a short Thank You note to our guests.

 

The maracas were ordered from Amols and were SUCH a great price! :)

Hi All! 

Have any former brides had luck shipping boxes to the resort prior to your arrival? I am worried about all of the favors, decorations, and OOT bags on top of our own luggage making it on the plane. 

 

For 2014 brides-- do you all have a plan for getting all of your goodies down there?

 

I have a room right now dedicated to my wedding organization and the pile needing to travel with me seems to be getting quite large!  

I do plan on having each of my immediate family members and bridal party carry on items that are fragile!

Has anyone done a trash the dress photo session?! I would like to do one and just wondering if you have any advice on locations? I thought the tulum ruins may be a cool place but not sure how that would all work... any suggestions would be appreciated!

Does anyone know how much the Moon Palace charges for translating UK documentation into Spanish?

How long will it be before we receive our marriage certificate?

@@Shell66 why don't you just do a symbolic ceremony in Mexico? you will avoid unnecessary paperwork besides you will never need something from Mexico? get married in UK, because you live there, It will be a better idea to have all there

Hey Everyone, I have been on here for a little while but I just wanted to say that I had Alejandra as my wedding coordinator, she was amazing and now has transferred me over to my onsite wc, Karen, and so far she is super helpful as well!

I leave in two days and my wedding is in one week so Ill come back and let everyone know how it went! If anyone has any questions they need answered let me know and I will try to help!
