Hi Jenvens7,
You already have a WC assigned to you? How were you able to get one? They keep telling me that I have to wait 3 months before the wedding date to get one. Were you also able to book locations already too?

Thanks

You should have an offsite WC, I have one and I get married a year from now.

I do have one already, her name is Daniela Campos. She's been responsive and it'll only take her 2 days to respond to my questions. (I'm not sure if she's onsite or not and I'm pretty sure that 3 months from the big day, I'll get an onsite one) I'm going through a TA, but I'm not sure if you are or not. If so, ask them to direct your questions to the right person.

I do have my locations already booked because I knew that I wanted to get married in a gazebo...the Tucan wasn't available (ALREADY - Wedding is 7/7/14!), so we had to book the Bougainvilla gazebo and terrace for the reception.

Here's what my TA said regarding the decor: "You are allowed to bring your own decoration. In case that you require that our onsite wedding coordinator set some favors or wedding decoration on your wedding event locations, the cost is according to the items that your bring (starting cost 100.00 USD) or someone in your group can place them. It will be quote at the Resort according to the items that they brought"

I replied asking how early can they be setup if one of my family members sets them up for us to make sure they have time to go get ready before the FIESTA! I'll let you guys know what she says!

BTW, my passport invites are turning out AMAZING! I'll post pics ASAP!

I was also curious of set up fees but haven't got around to asking yet so pls let me know what you hear! hopefully its not nuts, but I have heard depending on your WC the price may change!

Maybe you can answer another question I have regarding photography package A and what it includes. Like how long are they there and what shots do they take. Is it just the ceremony and then you add on to get group shots ect?

I don't know about the photographer...I can ask her about that too. I'm cheap and this is already going to cost us a ton more than we expected. We are considering having a family member take pics, but I don't want them to have to "work" during the ceremony and reception, so we might end up paying an arm and a leg for professional pics. stupid.gif The ones offered by the resort are WAY cheaper than places that I've rcvd quotes from, so we might end up just getting a basic package and having everyone else take some pics as needed.

I'll let you know what she says!

I was quoting Vivi, she seems to be a little confused about it. I do have a TA but I deal directly with the resort when I have questions, they usually get back to me the same day.

HI Jen,

I just picked up the phone and called Moon Palace just to get answers to some of the questions I have asked my wedding coordinator here to get from the resort and I never hear back. I was super surprised how easy and useful it was! I got all my questions answered easily in a 10 min phone call!

For the photos she said that the Package A is only them taking photos at the ceremony, so 30min approx depending on your ceremony. Anything above that is an add on! Hope that helps!!
