Baby sitter???

Recommended Posts

Some of our guests have young child - some will be 1-2 years old, although I'm not sure if they will come or not (which is fully understandable).

What do you arrange for their young children, I'm thinking about suggesting them group-baby sitter as I dont think the menu fits well for babies. And I do worry that the babies will cry during the ceremony/ reception (especially the ceremony, I heard horrible story when babies crying when they were making the vow).

What did you do for yours?

I have a one year old and she will be at my wedding but she is our child.. My resort offers sitters for a fee and we were thinking about using one for the reception (if I can handle it, a little scary a stranger in another country watching my child) just be aware some of your guest may feel offended you asking that their children not attend the ceremony(especially being watched by a stranger) after traveling so far to come to your wedding which may double as their family vacation. The "no children please" is often a touchy subject even at a wedding at home.

My sister used a service called Sitter Patrol for their Wedding Sitter Service.  Their located in Florida but came to Mexico to sit for the kids.  They had their own little party and the guess weren't offended.  They actually liked it.  I'm not sure though if they will go to Greece.

This is my concern too. We are having a destination wedding. My youngest will be 3 years old. We would have my fiancé parents there to help take her so we can have alone time. However, I feel bad cuz i want to have fun but not have them babysit the whole trip
