Barcelo Maya Palace or Now Jade

Hello,

 

I am new to the forum and just got engage. We are planning the wedding on August 10, 2013. I am looking at two resorts: Barcelo Maya Palace vs. Jade Now. I want a really nice family resort and the best prices. I did some research on Barcelo and a lot of things are not included in the wedding packages. Can you bring your own photographer? Florist?

 

I love Jade but my TA said Barcelo was the best. Can anyone help? I am having trouble getting in touch with the WC at Barcelo.

Hi Congrats to you! I am currently debating between these two resorts as well!!  I got an email from Barcelo Maya Beach, but I'm not sure if that is the same as Barcelo Maya PALACE (which is where i want my wedding at). I know that there are 5 Barcelo resorts, but does anyone know if it is just ONE wedding coordinator for all 5 Barcelo hotels?  I fell in love w/ Barcelo Maya Palace and then later came across NOW Jade and cant decide. Let me know which one you ended up picking (if you did already) and what made you pick that one vs the other!!
