Thanks for all of your feedback. My family wanted me to have that beachy goddess looking feel as well but were happy with my choice... I just felt like I did not give myself enough time and I rushed my decision..., soooooo I went to David's bridal today and tried on like 8 more dresses and I have to say I did not get that feeling I had with the dress I bought... nothing gave me that feeling! like my dress..... I love it now...

Thanks to all for your support I really love the feedback we get ok bdw.com :)

happy planning to all!

If it's one thing that I've learned through the wedding planning process is that it is absolutely impossible to please EVERYONE!  So you just need to do what YOU want to do and what YOU like (with some consideration for the hubby-to-be of course!).  No matter who you ask for an opinion, they will all be different and do nothing but confuse you or even upset you at times.  The best advice/opinions I've gotten is from my new bdw family!

So glad that you decided on the dress you like!  Congratulations!!

Fellow allure bride ! (mine is 8800) , I kept comparing everything I saw afterward to "my dress" which is what it sounds like happened to you once you kept looking. Now you can enjoy your beautiful day knowing that YOU have the dress YOU love! I think that dress is very sexy by the way!

Alright, months ago I posted on here asking for an opinion to help me choose a dress... well, I bought the unanimous vote, had it fitted, and wore it on July 18 when I said I DO! (And then again the next day for our TTD, and then a month later for our AHR. woohoo!)

So here it is on our wedding day... Thanks so much for your help, ladies!

700

700 You can see the back here a bit

700And the top is shown more in this one

700 And here you can see it blowing in the wind... It was very windy! But I liked the movement. It just flowed right behind me :)

I ordered my dress yesterday!!! It is a high-low and needs a few alterations. I would like to make it into a modified sweetheart neckline (as pinned in picture) and shorten/pin up the train. I hope the sweetheart neckline will still look good for the wedding in January as I won't have much cleavage... I plan to stop nursing my daughter before then (5 months now, pictured in background). What do you all think of the appliqué on the side?400

This dress looks gorgeous on you!  I like the applique on the side, gives it a nice touch.  I can't believe you have a 5 month old baby, you are in great shape!

it's really beautiful!!! a sweetheart neckline is very flattering. and you can always add a gel cup to give "the girls" a little help if needed. rolleyes.gif
