Hopefully I did this right, but here is my dress!! I can't wait to wear it!

I went to my first fitting yesterday and the dress fits better than I expected.  I can't wait to finally get to wear it, only 2 more months until my wedding.  Getting excited!!!

so the belt is ruled out

the bling at the seam where the skirt flares out...is also ruled out...

i think i shall go with the flower applique/brooch at the side....

 

i think it's not toooo too much...it balances:

Whoever said that the bling applique takes away the focus ...ur right....i think it kind of does....and because it's not centered it's kinda...off..sorta..kinda ... 

The flower applique is subtle and nice but still enough bling to shut me up :P LOL

I am so glad you decided! I think I would have ended up more confused lol! But I think you made the right decision and will look stunning no matter what!

Perfect choice bc I'm weighing in all late in life and was going to say- I love the flower to the side. I'm a bling bride myself but the dress is so gorgeous because of its structure. The appliqué on the bottom throws off the dress for me too, but the side flower, since its off center, goes with the flow of the dress since it has the rouching switching directions, if that makes sense lol sorry I don't know the technical term. Your dress is stunning and it looks great on your figure. Congrats! How exciting! I recommend adding jewelry to your bouquet if you want fresh flowers or having a brooch bouquet!

I think that's absolutely the right decision---the flower is the perfect compromise.  If you're looking for bling in terms of neckwear, J. Crew has some great pieces in the store on sale.  I just bought one for 75% off of the original price (in total)!

I can FINALLY post my professional pictures! Our photographer took 4,000 between the wedding and the TTD so I couldn't decide but I tried to pick the ones that mostly showed my dress. BTW in case anyone is wondering- totally do the TTD. Our shoot was about 3 hours long, we enjoyed the alone time, I felt suuuuuuper sexy, we got amazing shots, and yes- the sand comes out because I wore my dress again at my AHR and I did not take it to the cleaners, I cleaned it in the hotel shower! GO FOR IT!!!!!!!

 

Here's my dress that I wish I could wear again. It looks different standing and sitting.

I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.
