Where I bought my dress - they said to get a long veil bc it will be less impacted by the wind. the short veils catch more and will blow in your face. I'm thinking a long veil will add to the bridal feel - especially if coupled with a flower!

Paloma Blanca Style #4165
It was alot more than I wanted to spend, but I will waer it for my AHR and that makes it right on target! It is so light weight its unbelieveable! I will take out 2 of the 3 layers of crenline.

for those worried about their veils blowing in the wind, they do sell veil weights:

I going to try to make my own with 3/4" round magnets I found at Hobby Lobby. unless a couple of girls want to go in on purchasing a set of the weights together and we can just recycle them? PM me! they're $65 for a set of 6.

These things look awesome!! I doubt if I'm going to use them as my veil is crazy long, but they have potential to be really useful...that's someone who was thinking

Thanks for the tip Kellygrrrl!!

Guess who's dress is in?!?!?!  I'm so excited!  I had started doubting my choice and was considering changing it - until I had it on again!  It's still a little tight, but can be let out - and I have time to lose a few more pounds....AND there was NO way I was going to wear a veil - until I put this one on.  I didn't have a 'moment' while I was looking for my dress.  My moment came when the dress came in and I added the veil .  Wedding dress 2.JPGWedding Dress 3.JPG
