Here is my dress!  I initially was planning on something a bit more 'beachy' and casual but once the hunt started it became very apparent what did and didn't work on me!  The aqua dress is my bridesmaids dress.  : )

Here is my dress. I am so unsure about it. When I originally purchased it we were getting married in the spring in a garden behind a cute historic southern mini-mansion here in Georgia. Now I just dont think it will work with the vibe we will have in Cancun.

What a gorgeous dress. And while yes its not a destination wedding type dress I actually love the juxtaposition of a formal gown on the beach. I am definitely going for this type of dress. If you love the dress I say keep it!

Thank you. My FI actually picked it out but he doesnt know it. One day I was flipping through a bridal magazine and he pointed to this dress and said "that would be gorgeous on you" (that was strange because he is a guys guy and could care less about fashion or wedding details lol). When I was dress shopping I was all set on another dress but tried this on just for kicks. I was shocked because I fell in love with it and bought it on the spot.

 

The designer is Allure and the style number is 8750

Bride KSmith that is an amazing dress.  I think it will look beautiful on you...especially with gorgeous Cancun in the background.  Do not worry at all.  I am going to get a dress I would wear no matter where the venue was (beach, church, clifftop, private estate, etc.)  This is your special day and you will have these pictures for the rest of your life so make sure you get what you want and will love looking at yourself in....not what fits the location or time of year.  Who cares about that!!!  LOL
