I LOVE the cathedral veil with lace too! If it were me, I would wear the dramatic veil for the ceremony and photos. Then I would remove the veil completely, and add the sash :)

I've actually seen TONS of brides with "complicated" dresses on this site. And not a single one of them looked out of place, they only looked beautiful, radiant, and confident. I will be getting married in a dress that I never thought I'd wear myself. I envisioned a simple, flow-ey, light dress. But when I tried on my puffy A-line gown I fell in love, and I have not regretted my decision a single time! Wear what makes you feel good and nobody will think twice about the bride looking "out of place"!

EmilyT, I agree with oblaka9.  I'm a fan of the birdcage and your dress is amazing and it is NOT too much for a beach wedding.

You look beautiful!!

My vote would be short, simple veil with no sash.  Something about the pic with no sash looks very elegant...I'm not sure that the sash really adds anything. Just my opinion, tho! You look beautiful either way!
