Reception Questions

Hi eveyone,

 

I was wondering if it was possible or if anyone paid extra to have their reception on the beach rather than at the a la carte restaurants which was part of the package.

Hi!

This depends on your resort.

 

Beach or Hall reception?  A tip! According my experience, beach receptions are wonderful from October to April when the weather in the Riviera Maya is not too hot. During the summer, even by night, it could be very hot with a lot of humidity. Take care I you have frail or elderly persons. In that case, a hall with A.C. could be better.

I've been researching the package prices and most of the resorts would allow reception on the beach with extra charge.  Most charge per person with fixed menu.
