Where do I begin?!?

Hi everyone!  I recently got engaged and want to plan a wedding at an all inclusive resort in Cabo.  I am a little confused because a few people I talked to were telling me I have to actually go to Cabo and pick out vendors for my wedding, yet I am reading places like Dreams and Riu that are all inclusive have actual wedding packages that include all those "vendor like" things...such as wedding cake, pictures, decorations etc.  Am I correct that if my fiance and I decide on an all inclusive resort and get their highest "wedding package" that we will get all of those things included? Or do we need separate vendors as well. 

 

Also any advice as to where I should start? Do I just start emailing wedding planners at these places or do I hire one here? Please help I'm getting stressed already! lol Thank you all so much for any help

You might want to try one of the BDW Travel Agents.  We Specialize in Destination weddings.  

 

I am a cabo bride and am very familiar with the area.  With some resorts you do not need to hire a WC as they have a very solid wedding department.  Others, you will def. need to hire one so you best strategy would be to find out what resort you want to get married at, then see if you will need an offsite WC.
