I'm SO excited I found this thread, I'm getting married in October too!! We are getting married in Jamaica at Grand Bahia Principe on October 8th.  So far we have 30 people that have put their deposit down which we are completely excited about .  I just sent my formal invites to press this week and I'm hoping they will be back soon because I'm anxious to send them out.  My wedding dress is being made as we speak, and we're going shopping for bridesmaid dresses on April 13..YAY!  My one bridesmaid hasn't put her deposit down for the trip yet so I'm a bit concerned about that but other than that everything is running smoothly.  Excited to hear how everyone's planning is going

Welcome EmbellishMe!! Congrats!! My fiance and I are off this week so we finished putting together our invites yesterday, going to send them out April 1st.  30 people that have put down a deposit is great!! We have 27 people so far! : )

 

Has anyone figured out what their groom's and groomsmen's outfits are going to be yet?

I'm so excited that I found this thread   I almost started my own, LOL.

 

I'm getting married in October in Montego Bay, Jamaica at the Iberostar Grand Hotel  We're very excited!!! 

 

Just some info on what I've done so far..  I never sent save-the-dates as we were engaged on Feb 16th this year, so everything happened a bit quick.  We decided to jump right to mailing out our invitations last month.  So far, we have 14 people that have booked.  We were not expecting a big turnout due to the short notice but we are very happy with everyone that has committed so far.  I'm having my wedding dress made, and my first fitting is June 10th.  I've booked my photographer and wedding coordinator.  The WC has arranged a private ceremony site and has taken care of decor and travel for guests to the site and back.

Getting married October 24, 2013 at Excellence Riviera Cancun.  We are using the Pier Gazebo for a 5:00pm wedding.  We just started planning our wedding which will just be my fiance' and myself.  Using the Excellence wedding package with the resort photographer called Beach Wedding Studio.  The resort is providing our witnesses and it will be just an intimate wedding for the two of us.  Glad to have found this website and will probably have more questions as I research further.

We are getting married in the DR on October 19, 2013 as well!!! We'll be at Now Larimar. Time is flying by!
