Bouquet Question...

This might be a silly question but...

 

if you want ribbon around the green on your bouquet, do you have to ask or does it come wrapped with a bit of ribbon?

Usually if it is a hand held bouquet they put some ribbon on there around the stems. If you have a certain color or style as to what you want it to look like though you should probably specify it or send them a picture of a bouquet that you like with it on there.

I am bringing ribbon with me. I do not want to chance that they do not have the colour I want or the style I want, I am not picky but I want it to look nice. So, I am not taking any changes.

I asked for a specific color ribbon, but I think they would have done it anyway.

I forget where I saw this, but I'm planning on getting the material from my dress to wrap around the bouquet (taken from the length at alterations).

Honestly, I have noooooo idea about Dreams Tulum but as a general rule:

 

DON'T LEAVE ANYTHING UP TO CHANCE! Request exactly what you want. Send as many pics as you can. If you have to, buy ribbon just in case. I bought a specific orange ribbon for my BM corsages so it matched perfectly. Unfortunately, you have to be a little anal to ensure your happiness when your wedding is so far away.

great idea, but how would you do this? do you sew? I can't sew to save my life! lol

I can sew a little bit, but I haven't totally worked out the details. I haven't had my alteration done yet either, but I thought it was a good idea. It should be a pretty simple project with a sewing machine to make a nice edge to the fabric - or you could even use double stick fabric tape to make a nice edge.

I sent pics of what I wanted ... but also if you find a riboon you like, I'd take it to use just in case.
