Manuel Antonio or Guanacaste/Tamarindo

Hi Everyone!

My fiancee and I are looking to get married in Costa Rica sometime in 2014. We have done quite extensive research, but still have lingering questions and are finding it difficult to make a decision. Why did you select Manuel Antonio or Guanacaste/Tamarindo? Does anyone have recommendations for places off the beaten path? Has anyone ever worked with Erin Little from Oasis Destination Weddings?

Where did you end up selecting in Costa Rica? I'm starting the planning process for a wedding in late November 2014 and am having a hard time deciding on a venue. Hearing about other people's experiences really seem to help narrow it down for us! Good luck and hopefully your wedding plans are coming along!

Hiya,

We ended up in the Guanacaste Area, Playa Ocotal to be more specific. We went for the private villas option (All inclusive) instead of the Hotel/Resort and I must say I was the best decision I ever made. It gave us total freedom to design a unique wedding and my family and friends had a total blast. We had our ceremony at Playa Ocotal and the reception at our Private Villa.
