Tipping!!

Hey Brides and people in the industry

 

Do we tip?  Who do we tip?  And how much do we tip?  I am getting married in a boutique hotel on the Coast of Costa Rica.  We did a package deal and got our ow photographer

 

The people I an thinking about tipping:

Justice of the Peace

Wedding Planner

Makeup and Hair Artist

Chef

Photographer

I was wondering the same thing! I will be paying the resort a package price for everything, so do we tip individually? Do you know how much the fees are for each item? I don't at our resort.

I am also working on a list of people that will need tipping.  So far I'm thinking:

- wedding co-ordinator(s) at the resort

- the DJ

- the hairstylist and make-up artist

- the bartender(s) at reception 

- waiters at reception

.......How much money is appropriate?

I'm going to bring a few thank you cards with me to place the tip in.

 

You also don't want to forget about the everyday tipping for maids, waiters and bartenders!
