OOT bags for Mexico wedding!!!

My wedding coordinator recommended I contact this woman in Mexico about what can be brought in.  She told me that I can't take excess amounts of things like Advil, pepto, etc (anything thats medicine) for my gift bags.  

 

Did any brides have any problems in customs taking things for your gift bags.  

 

I need to know what I can legally take with me for my wedding bags.  I hate to get to the airport and have they take the stuff away.

Honestly, lots of med shops will be available right in Mexico, so don't stress about it. It's more about monetary limits than items. No go items are generally things that will raise red flags, ie tons of meds, live animals, drugs, firearms,explosives, ect.

P.S. Medication, even simple stuff like pepto bismol, ibuprofen, etc. would be cheaper in Mexico.
