I have a few rooms with three and am wondering if i should include a survival kit for each of them or just stick with one. (For other items such as our mugs, each guests gets one, but was just wondering if i should pack the survival kits fuller or just use one or add a whole nother set for each guest.)

I just did one survival kit per room. I have 20 rooms as of now and a few that are still saying they are going to book. We leave in 33 days! People are crazy! Anyway, I am bringing enough of everything to have 25 welcome bags. If there ends up being more than that, they won't get a bag and I won't feel bad about it.

You too?? I really thought it was just people in my group that were crazy! How do you not know if you are going to another country for a vacation by now? Money, time off work, etc. I just don't understand. Maybe I'm just a planner, but I think it's absolutely insane, rude too. My fiance's mother told me we'd have some last minute people but I honestly did not expect it to be this last minute. This sounds absolutely horrible, but I truly hope that these last groups of people who say they are coming end up not booking!

Wondering how many of your FI's are super involved in the planning? Mine is like non-existent. Lol! He asked me a few times while I was cutting programs, tags, etc if I needed help & I told him no, which I meant bc I don't trust his cutting (I just don't think he'd make the lines as straight as me and stuff! Lol). But now that we are like 50 days out I thought maybe he'd ask me a question or ask something about the wedding--but nothing! So we talked when I got home from work bc it's been bothering me all day. He just said that he knows that everything is gonna be taken care of bc he knows I'll handle it. He knows that our final planning form is due to our resort any day now, so just thought maybe he'd ask something about that since we are so close, idk! He said he's super excited & ready for our day though.... I tell myself that this is normal... I sure hope it is!

Yes very normal! I am a little different in personaility I guess because I ask his opinion on everything. So I mean i throw questions at him constantly "Do you like these shoes?

"Do you like this bracelet?" "Should we even bother with a planned excursion?"  He is involved because I sort of make him involved, but I know he doesnt mind. We just work together and talk a lot because his job has caused us to not live around any family for the last 9 years...so he knows I need his help hah. I basicaly find the choices, then have him pick. He even constructed my brooch bouquet base for me out in our garage hah. However when it came to getting our guests all set with travel and accomodations, planning my colors, picking out reception decor, he had nothing to do with that type of stuff. I joke when he shows up itll be like he is a guest too.

But the only things he is REALLY involved in (meaning wants to be) is the food selection at the reception, the music, a few planned excursions for him to fish and drink with his buddies and what he and the groomsmen are wearing. Other than that I just get a lot of Yeps, Sounds good, Do it! And I am fine with that! :)

He is involved whether or not he likes it.  :P  Seriously though, he may put up a fuss when I ask for help, but he does want to be involved.  He won't admit because he thinks he won't seem manly.

He has been instrumental in almost every aspect and when we are working on projects, I see him smiling so I know he is happy helping.  All I have to do is ask and he will jump in.

I received my dress today.  I wasn't going to let him see it, but needed help zipping it up when I tried it on.  I turned around and he was grinning from ear to ear telling me how great I looked.

Maybe I came across wrong. He's does ask me if I need any help & I tell him no... I don't care about the 'help' aspect of it--I don't want his help on the 'DIY' stuff. I just wanted him ask questions about some things since we are so close to the date. I guess I came across wrong on my previous post. I am very untraditional, but that's one tradition I will keep! He will not see my dress until I'm walking down the aisle! ;) Well that & the tradition of not sleeping together the night before!

Oh Yeah mine really doesnt ask too many questions either. I think its just a sign that they trust us and our choices.

And yes on the traditional thing! I have my dress upstairs right now and he isnt even allowed in that room.  And my sister will have her own suite while we are there so I think me, her and my little sister are going to spend the night together before!

I AM GETTING SO EXCITED lately!!! I just dont know what to do with myself hahah.

It was pretty bad.  She got the white ones with the blue ink palm trees and in the picture all  that is left is like the top of the palm tree. That is the first time I have heard that though, even on review sites cause I looked before I ordered. (I THINK! Been so long now!)

For anyone who wants the read the thread about the travel mugs, here's the thread:

http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/t/85993/dont-order-from-factory-21-for-mugs-or-oriental-trading-for-totes

I decided against them b/c I didn't want to carry so many things with us, but at one point I read so many reviews and they all seemed really good! Don't stress if you did order them. Hopefully (unfortunate for that bride) she just received a bad batch.
