anyone pull off a COSTCO wedding in Mexico?

I am interested in trying to cut costs due to being laid off since May...I was thinking about buying flowers from Costco in Mexico and making simple bouquets for my bridesmaids and butonnieres...possibly centerpieces with lemon and a few flowers, not sure if I can pull it off with time crunch but who knows. 

I'll buy candy in bulk to use as favors.

Has anyone done this? What else have you gone to Costco for while in Mexico?

where is a costco in mexico? is it the same membership as u.s.?

i believe it's around cancun and it's the same membership as usa

Yes, Cancun has a large Costco - and you can use your American or Canadian memebership card and get a day pass to shop there. They have pretty much the same things as are available back home, and an excellent resource - great idea, imnotarunner!

this is seriously the best news i've ever heard. i'd been really worried about how to handle customs for all of the random OOT bag items!
