Involving my 2 children in ceremony ideas

Hello brides!

 

I am looking for any ideas of how to include my two children who will be 14 and 11 in the ceremony. They are walking together down the aisle and wearing the same thing as the bridesmaids so they will be standing with us at the ceremony but I wanted a special way to include them.

What about having them do a reading?

What about the sand ceremony? They can each have a different colored sand, you and your husband will also have different colors and you all pour them together. Have a nice sand ceremony frame with a photo of all 4 of you and it becomes very symbolic of your family.

They are too shy to do a reading but good idea. I love the sand ceremony idea, especially the picture.
