Essence of Austrailia, Mori Lee, Casablanca, Wtoo, Impressions, Moonlight and Bonny.

Happy hunting and enjoy the process!

Thanks for the help! I was up all night looking up the designers...some I'd heard about, but a few I'd never seen before, so it was exciting! Now I just have to figure out what kind I want....I get settled on one style & then I see a pretty dress in another style & I'm changing my mind!

I love the idea of paying almost half the price for the dress by going the pre-owned/sample dress route....but scared to order a dress without seeing it in person or trying it out. I'm usually pretty laid back, but this wedding is making me an uptight-witch-with-a-"b" ha! We go back to the States next month, so hopefully I have an idea about what kind of dress I want & find this sucker!

I tried on sooooo many dresses to find a style. At first I hated the idea of a mermaid fit, I thought I liked A-line, but I ended up getting a mermaid. My advice would be to try of a bunch of diff kinds, poofy, a line, mermaid dropeed waist, soon youll start to see what you dont like about a particular dress.I screwed up and bought a dress on my first day out, and I quickly realized that it wasnt my dress. ll be wearing it for the trash the dress and it was only 99$, but I had major remorse for a while. I get where your coming from having never tried on a dress and buying it online. But if you try it on in your salon then you know its THE dress you want, you just have to ask the seller for LOTS of pictures, and a lot of the used ones are actually new with tags they are just samples, like Choco said. Your dress is out there and she is looking for you too! :)

you might consider getting a pre-owned dress.  there are lots of sites out there.  I got mine off recycledbride.com, but it was actually never worn.  the girl changed her mind.  They way i think of it is that most people are happy to get a deal on a sample dress at a wedding store and that has been tried on by hundreds of women when this would have only been worn by one... or in my case, none!  It's surprising how many brides change their mind so there are tons of dresses out there that have never been worn, but are listed at half price.  just an option!

I got my dress for my first wedding on netbride.com. It was Maggie Sottero Grace which retails over $1000 and I got if for MUCH less brand new. I even saved tax by having it mailed to my sister in law. I would be ordering my dress from there again but they don't carry the dressing like. They are very reputable and they are authentic not replicas. I highly recommend!

Don't forget that it's possible to try pre-owned dresses on!  I found a place in Dallas that sold pre-owned and sample gowns that other salons had sold them - TONS of options.  Make sure if you go that route you factor in cleaning.  Up here in NYC the stores that are recommended for cleaning the gown want $500-$600 (um, NO!), but there are definitely places that will do it for less if you shop around.  Good luck!  You will find something beautiful.

Hiiii Well I went dress shopping today with two distict different dress styles in mind! I live in NYC area and was advised by many to go to kleinfelds.... My mom was buying my dress and didn't want to fall in love with something there over my budget! They are sooo overpriced! Went to rk bridal in NYC and great selection but tried on a dress double the budget without realizing! Omg it was spectacular... My only saving grace was it was very formal and too much dress for a beach wedding in July... Tough though because people were coming up to me in the store... It was so different and truly spectacular! Loved another dress as well that was the beach wedding dress! It is an Allure and truly gorgeous! Rk had a ton of reasonablypriced gowns !

AH that is SO something I would do! The first time I went dress shopping I didn't even look at prices, just pulled whatever I thought was pretty....talk about a shock when I looked at the prices! Did you end of getting the beach dress? I love Allure, they are absolutely beautiful!
