Hi im getting married in 7 weeks time 14/11/2012 at the riu ochos rios jamaica, im so excited but i am trying to solve a few issues i have one is sharing the steakhouse with other bridal parties and hotel guest at my reception! not happy about this so we decided to pay the $55 per person for a private beach party but im not sure whats included in that im trying to get hold of the wedding cordinator keisha adams by phone coz when i email she doesnt answer all my question only some.... can anyone help me with whats included in the private reception and what was your wedding like and id love to see some photographs, thanks helen xx

Hello we are getting married February 14th at the same resort and considering the beach party as well. can u post a review of your wedding when you get back? I googled some pictures and it looks nice and intimate.

When I asked Keisha she said the only thing that is included is the white table clothes and chair set-up at the beach (plus bar & buffet).  If you want centerpieces, tie backs, table cloths, napkins, tent etc... you should contact Jan's Flowers Jamaica (just google that and something should come up).  She is awesome and half the price of Tai Flora.  

I was also considering the beach reception for $55 pp because I will have about 100 guests so wanted something more private.  I think I may end up going totally off-site.  I found the prices for a full package, decorations, flowers, food, drinks ends up being cheaper than the prices at the Riu when you add in decor etc... I've started talking to Almarie at Tropical Weddings Jamaica.  Your wedding is pretty close so it may be too late to change venue... but might be worth it to check it out.
