Getting Married Gran Bahia Principe October 25, 2012 :)

Hello, my name is Nicole, I am getting married at the Gran Bahia Principe October 25th, 2012. I am staying in the Coba section from October 17th till November 1st. I have 51 confirmed/booked guests. I am looking to buy some wedding favours in Cancun or Playa Del Carmen, any ideas? Maybe something guests can eat....like the little strawberries that look like bride and groom. Not to sure where to shop for these items.

Hi Nicole,

 

Congratulations on your approaching wedding. We love the chocolate shops in Playa called Ah Cacao. Perhaps they could do something special, but I don't think strawberries are that easy to come by.

 

Also, there are lots of shops along 5th Av in Playa where you can buy maracas, shot glasses or miniatures of tequila for guests.

Congrats nicoleg27 + welcome to the forum! Being a tourist town, Playa del Carmen has lots of great souvenier shops all over 5th Ave with lots of choices for small gifts.
Even our department + grocery stores in town -  like Walmart + Chedraui - have souvenier sections stocked with a variety of choices.

Best of luck with finding just what you're looking for.......sometimes you don't know what it is till you see it.......fun
