Dreams Riviera Wedding... new soon to be bride

Hi Everyone... 

My name is Elsa, I am new to this website! I am getting married in Dreams Riviera Cancun on April 30, 2013... My wedding planner is Evangelina. I understand that communicating with the wedding planner is not as easy and can be frustrating. I'm hoping to get some ideas or suggestions from  everyone. Right now I'm trying to figure out where to choose for reception dinner and I was hoping to book the El Patio restaurant but the Evangelina advised we would have to pay an addition $6,000 just for booking the restaurant for 20 people... did anyone else have to pay this? if any other information about DJ/photos and videos and would like to share please let me know =)
