2013 Akiin Brides

Hey everyone!

 

I see threads all around for brides getting married at this hotel or that hotel but I don't see anything in the last 3 years for Akiin. Am I the only one? Please let me know I'm not alone. Or if someone just got married there and they have advice. I'd love to know what people are doing here.

Hi!

 

Well, Ak’iin is not an hotel but a lovely beach club on the wildest beach of the Riviera Maya (Tulum area). I shot several wedding there and I really love the location.

Just to give an idea, look at some of the Weddings I have covered at Akiin Beach Club!

Hi DaynaBee,

 

Check out this incredible slideshow library by our photographers, Del Sol. I used it a lot when we were researching venues (Aki'in was in our top three, too!). They've categorized by region, so you can click to Tulum and view all the Aki'in weddings and contact the couples... although now that I click myself, I see there's only one. I'm fairly sure they've shot other weddings there, so perhaps you could ask and they'd be willing to connect you? 

 

And I just did a quick search, and there was this user who got married at Aki'in on July 24 of this year!

Hi DaynaBee! We're getting married at Akiin on July 5, 2013! I would looove to share ideas, etc. We are planning on having around 90-100 guests. And, yes, I know how you feel about not seeing a lot of brides on this site that are getting married at the same place you are, in this case Akiin! It makes you feel a bit lonely...silly as it may be... Well, I'm ready to share!!!

Hello you gorgeous wedding planners you! We've recently shot a simply lovely wedding at Akiin Beach Club, it's a great alternative to the all inclusive big hotels. Super intimate, cozy, "rustic chic" venue for a unique Tulum wedding experience. Here are a few photos for inspiration, see the whole Akiin Beach Club Tulum wedding!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

(This was SUCH a fun idea, the "kiss-cycle", guests had to ride the tricycle to get the bride and groom to kiss!)
