So here's the reply to all of the questions:

Placecard table box ($20-$25): The WC actually brought with her and I am so glad she did. Prior to seeing the set-up I couldn't justify paying for this but I am glad she brought it with her anyway free of charge. In this area Sunset Weddings excelled!

Linens: I rented through WC but I could've ordered through Fun and Motiviation in Cabo as well. I investigated renting and bringing with but it would've been more money since we had approx. 8 tables

Orchid tree: I was so inspired by what event planners have been doing here with real manzanite(sp) branches and orchids that I decided to recreate. The branches were from Pier One last holiday season, I actually picked up for a BDW bride whose theme was coral but she didn't want. The orchids featured are silk and plastic (the real looking ones) from Hobby Lobby. I originally brought floral foam and fabric to wrap that with. Instead the WC filled a flower pot with sand, covered with my fabric and stuck it in there. I LOVED how it turned out.

MORE PICS: all the pics you could ever want to see are on Find the Perfect Wedding and Portrait Photographer on Pictage.com event polk/cousin wedding. Gina DeContii of Imaginative Studios was my photogrpher and she captured everything I could've ever wanted.

Jenetta and Jessalyn-- I love your tablescapes! So elegant and yet fun! I originally wanted a more tropical look but we changed it since our reception is inside Sunset Salon which has a more formal ambiance I thought. Here is what we are going to do. It is all the colors in the pillowbox. Our centerpiece will have red and white orchids.

Are you making or renting linen? Are pillow boxes Papersource?
Thank you Jenetta! I bought all the fabric from Vogue Fabrics and my aunt made the tablecloths, napkins and runners for me. Yes the pillow boxes are from Papersource. The place cards and table number cards are all going to have the same design from the Japanese paper. I agonized over this since I initially wanted a tropical look but with our venue we thought a more formal look would fit better.

I can't tell you how often I've admired your wedding photos Jenetta!

here is what we did. I seriously had reached the point of not caring at all once I got to the point of doing this, so I handed everything over to my mom and let her do whatever she wanted. thankfully, it looked nice and was festive :)

they took the large arrangements from our aisle and stuck one on our sweetheart table (you can kinda see it in this photo) and the other on our dessert table

and yes, to pay homage to my H's love for the Angels, we named tables after Angel players and stuck photos of them on each table. (this is a sore subject after yesterday's loss, of course)

oh, and as for cost, my mom ordered the blue tablecloths from some place in LA for around $6 each. We sold them to the hotel afterward. We brought down the tealights purchased at Big Lots - 3/$1. My mom ordered the ribbon from papermart.com and then my mom and sister painstakingly weaved those bad boys once we got to Cabo. Thank goodness for my mom! I did the centerpieces through Rosy's florist. I think they were $35 each.

I love the look of the weaved ribbons. How well did they hold up when the guests were sitting down?
