1 other point I wanted to make, if you're doing 3 tiers I think the 6" will be well balanced, but it may be too big for a 2 tier cake with flowers ontop

Oh my... I didn't think about 2 or 3 tiers... The WC said the size would be determined by the number of guests.. Hmm.. I'm clueless as to how many we will have. I wonder if I should just be safe and get the 5 inch..

Here a pick from one of our own BDW brides, I remember talking to her about her DIY topper when she posted it months back.  It's a 6" on a 2 tier... What do you think? it seems like she has her letter raised 2" off the cake. I'm not sure how she accomplished this, so it would be hidden by the flowers.

Hmm.. I wonder if she had the letter secured with a long scewer and raised it up and hide the scewer with flowers?  Super cute though, and my colors. :o)  I think I may go ahead and go with the 5.. We have that extra piece with the R and I think a 6 may be a bit to big..

Now that I've also been looking at rhinestones all day.. I'm wondering what size to buy.. What kind to buy, etc.. I need rhinestones for several projects but for the cake topper I want them to be extra blingy without the cost of swarovski.. suggestions?
