Looking to get married in old Havana, advice on venues and wedding planer??

Hi all

 

We are planning a wedding in Cuba but we would like to do it away from the all-inclusive beach resort and have it old-school style in old Havana with vintage cars, Colonial hotel venue etc. 

 

Does anybody have any experience in this? It seems like the hotels in Havana, except Melias, does not have wedding packages so the best would be to find a good wedding planer in Havana do handle everything around the wedding. 

 

Any ideas of wedding venues, hotels, restaurants would be very appreciated!!

 

There must be more people wanting to get married in old Havana!!!

I am planning my wedding in Old Havana in July 2013, and Aire the Fiesta (www.airedefiestacuba.com) is assisting me with planning and decoration. They are a really good company, very serious staff, and are helping me find old colonial churches for the ceremony and a historic hall for the reception. I recommend checking out Restaurant Torre de Oro at Hotel Sevilla, the rooftop terrace of Parque Central Hotel and some of the smaller hotels (Raquel, Santa Isabel, Ambos Mundos), if you have a small guest list.
