Thanks for posting these pics Edna! I'm a newbie researching Mayan Palace and found very little pics on the web. I am sooo happy I joined this forum!

I was hoping you could answer a few questions about the Mayan from your site visit...

How was the beach? Crowded with guests? Vendors?

Did you see any of the rooms? Are you ony having your reception here?

Thanks so much!!

Rachel :)

Hi Rachel,
we did our tour on Sunday about noon, there were little vendors , is like a private beach, since the jetty is like a barrier. Never felt the hotel crowded during site visit or in my second visit for the tasting. We plan to have our legal ceremony at the jetty, Catholic Ceremony at the Church in the Marina Area and the Reception at the Mayan.

We didn't stayed there, I didnt had a chance to look the rooms, we plan to have our guests stay at a different hotel.

WOW Thanks for the speedy reply Edna!!!

I've been searching through some of the Mayan Bride forums and reading many of yours and Amyh's detailed info regarding to Mayan and Prisar. It's all really eased my nerves and WOW I'm soooo excited to start planning all of the details!!!

Forgive me if I am redundant, where did you choose to stay and why did you decide not to stay at Mayan? Are you offering a few hotels for your guests to choose from?

I'm still learning how to use this site and plan to update my profile soon. I've been glued to my laptop all day researching. I just love that I have found so much info already.

Thanks again!

Rachel

We decided to stay at a different hotel because of the amount of guests we will have, Mayan Palace is a hotel /timeshare place , and basically they offer a maximum amount of rooms. We are providing info on 2 different hotels in the area Marriot and Velas Vallarta, both on the Marina area walking distance from the Mayan, Marriot will be a EP and Vellas an all inclusive...

And dont worry about questions, we are here to help!!!
