well the Mayan Palace is also lovely!!! and I think it's easier to have a wedding in a resort rather than in a private villa

Would you mind sharing photos of your site visit and your wedding? I am leaning more towards a villa wedding and like the look of the salamandra, but it seems a bit pricey?
