Hi, I'm a newbie to the site so I hope I'm doing the right thing. I will be getting married May 2013 in Jamaica at Beaches Negril. I've selected the Chic and Natural theme. My question for anyone who recently married on the resort. Is it necessary to purchase the additional tables for $500 per table. I was thinking of adding cheaper center pieces to the other guest tables. Also, can someone post some pictures so I can see how the set the resort look. Also, I will be buying the photography package from Beaches. If anyone used their photographer, can you advise on the quality of the pictures and album.

I am getting married on a Sandals property and was also concerned about photography. I looked to see what the pictures of those who had used Sandals photog's turned out and I was not very impressed at all. Very "posey", little if any candid moments, and the editing was not at all the amazing high definition quality you would get from a good professional photographer. Every single picture I saw no matter what Sandals/Beaches location had pretty much the same wedding photo's.  I decided to fly my brother in and have him video the ceremony and take the pics w/his hidef camera. The total cost for us to fly him in and have him stay at a dif resort, since he's single and can't stay at Sandals, is going to run us roughly $1355 plus the Sandals full day pass for him to attend our wedding. Still under $15OO! That is less expensive than the package we were going to get from Sandals and I'll have thousands of photos to choose from, plus we'll do a sunset shoot! If you know somebody who can take professional pictures, and would do so just for the adventure of a free trip, I would recommend flying them in! I would post a link to the resort photo's but I really don't want to offend anybody by putting their photo's under scrutiny.

I've been trying to look into other photography options too.. I'm nervous about using a photographer that I've never seen their stuff. Especially at these prices!! But I have read reviews where other Brides have paid for their own photographer to stay and they said the Sandals photographers still take photos and try to take over the personal photographer.. I'm not sure I want to deal with that either. I wish you could just choose whether to use Sandals or a 3rd party vendor.
