Las Caletas Wedding Day Checklist...

Here I come again: I was just thinking of this checklist and are there any suggestions as to what is really needed to get ready for the wedding.

 

For instance:

 

1. Hair dryer, curlers, hot iron, extra towel. ? stuff like that what did

you find you needed and were glad you brought? TYAT

I can tell you precisely - 5 minutes and 35 seconds. That was the length of the song I used to walk down the aisle to and it literally ended on my last step, right next to Will. Pretty cool that it worked out that way, I didn't plan it...lol

 

I walked down from the spa and waited out of sight before the music/ceremony started. There the groomsmen were waiting (also out of sight from guests). The song started and 12 people walked out ahead of me, I met my father at the bottom of the stairs and proceeded to the end of the aisle. You can use a longer song, 2 songs, or just pick up the pace if you want everyone to get there faster.

i don't remember how long it took, to be honest. Nicole (or Kelley) walked me down part way w/all of the flowergirls, then we waited for our cue to go the rest of the way. so it's not like you walk the whole way from the bridal casita while people wait - there's like a "staging area" in the middle. no one can see you waiting there, but you can kind of see the ceremony site. i know that didn't answer your question! sorry!

 

as for extras - i brought none of that because someome was doing my hair for me. but the other girls brought a hair dryer and flat iron i think. there were enough towels there for us to use after showering.

Nobody used the hair dryer or brought curlers. Some people used curling irons and we all used the extra towels!! Soooo glad we brought those, a set for swimming and a set for showering )

Thats awesome. I am putting together the music and needed to make sure I wasnt going to long. So you say it took your bridal party and yourself 5 mins and 35 secs to get to your groom? I will plan accordingly. haha
