We paid for our photographer to stay two nights so we did it the day after the wedding. Yup, we stayed up real late and then did a half a day TTD the next day and the pics turned out amazing! He picked us up at the entrance to the Palace and we went to a cenote across the hiway. If you are doing it off site it wouldn't really matter what day you did it because there would be no resort fees involved.

My wedding planner Xhail sent me the Banquet Hall Menu to chose from, but we are having our reception on the beach ( Strawberry Package ).

 

I've emailed her about a week ago and have not heard from her. Did anyone else run into this problem as well??

Hello Brides,

 

 

Due to a financial hardship at this time, due to intermediate family emergency . Our wedding date is June 28th, 2014. 

 

 

We are looking for another couple  that will be getting married around the same time as us at the Barcelo Maya Palace.

 

We have a wonderful Photographer/Videographer (Los Angeles, Ca.) that we have booked for our trip, they will be Flying out    Wed. June 26th -  Mon. June 30th, 2014. 

 

 

We can possibly extend her stay and split her cost at the resort. We have booked her at the Barcelo Maya Caribe.

 

 

I have confirmed with the Resort and we do not have to pay the Extra $500 for an outside Photographer/Videographer.  

 

 

She charges $700 for 8 hrs of Photography, Edits 30 pictures, and gives you all pictures on a disc for us to keep. More Packages available on her website. 

 

 

They have great prices with amazing work, message me if you are interested in seeing her work or would like more details.

Hello ladies,

 

I'm looking for some advice from past brides about external  DJ's services for our beach reception. I read somewhere on here that the Barcelo charges an hourly rate to use their electricity for the DJ setup/equipment throughout the night.  I've heard one way to save $$ is to rent out the DJ's generator for a flat fee. My concern is that the generator might be quite noisy. Can anyone comment on this from firsthand experience?  Thanks so much!

I am getting married at the Barcelo Palace on July 8th, 2015.

Anyone have any information regarding the Mint Breeze package? does it include a particular colour already or can we choose it ourselves?

 

Are any decorations included in the package or is that all extra cost or bring your own?

 

 

I have read everyone's suggestions regarding photography, I am opening to "sharing" a photographer/videographer if anyone else is having a wedding there around that time.
