leaving for site visit wed...any advice?

hi! we are so excited to be going to cancun wed to tour hotels and hopefully pick one. i am so excited to finally have this part taken care of!

we are visiting the westin, the intercontinental presidente, the marriott casa magna, the gran melia and the hyatt regency. are we missing anything?

any important details i should be sure to ask?

any advice or suggestions for our visit would be great...

As an event planner by trade remember to:

1. Ask about hidden cost
2. Ask to see various rooms if you plan on getting a room block
3. Ask for testimonials that you could contact
4. Get a detailed proposal from every site
5. Don't feel bullied or shy to ask for what you want
6. Ask about sound/lighting
7. Don't be afraid to ask what they will throw in for free

Take pictures of EVERYTHING, rooms, restaurants, lobby, pool, beach - it is helpful when you get back.
