My mother used to say to me "Time goes by in a blink of an eye-especially in good times!" She was right ( as mom's usually are :) ). I remember being a little girl and going through my mothers wedding albums with my two sisters and exclaiming over each of those moments, captured forever. I would imagine my own wedding day, what I would wear and how my groom would look at me the same way my father looked at my mother. Last summer I did it again, this time with my mother after she was diagnosed with ALS. We looked through her albums, I pointed out my favorites pictures and this time, it was a little more poignant because we both knew she wouldn't be there on my special day. She said to me "Time goes by in a blink of an eye- especially in good times like these" and she pointed at her photos.  How is photography important to me on my wedding day and why? It captures the true spirit of the day and immortalizes these images in time - the butterflies, the first moments as man and wife, the eyes meeting across a crowded room as well as the shared joy and laughter of loved ones around you. Those moments are captured forever to be shared with generations to come, reminding us all of the important things in life - family, faith and, of course, LOVE!!

Wedding photography is not about the dress, the location, the decor of the event it's about capturing the emotion of the moment and making that emotion live for years to come.  At the end of the day, marriage marks the start of the a lifetime journey together and a great photographer, while expensive, is worth every penny if not more.  People become so focused on posing and the superficial aspects of a wedding that the emotion and the purpose is lost.  A great photographer, one that has a passion for what they do will put the client at ease and capture the emotion of the unity of these two people.  A great photographer is hands down the single most important aspect of a wedding.  While the dress gets boxed up, the band packs and leaves and the food and drinks get consumed and forgotten, great photographs will remain and prevail ans the most lasting memory, not only years but generations after the ceremony.  If you find someone that loves what they do you will not be disappointed.

Wedding photography is important to me for a number of reasons.  First, you want someone who can capture the excitment of your big day.  Along with excitement, I love looking at photos that make me feel the emotions of the day.  Secondly, you want someone that can capture your true personalities.  It's not an accurate representation of your wedding unless it really looks and feels like you.  Lastly, my fiancee is a photography buff.  He is terribly critical and wants our pictures to be absolutely perfect.  This is a challenge for us as many destination wedding photographers have simply picked up a camera and called themselves a photographer.  Weeding through the mess to find the good ones is difficult, but well worth it in the end.

Photography is important to our wedding for the obvious reason of it captures very special scenes which we may one day struggle to remember clearly. However, for Raul and I, it is also an opportunity to create art which incorporates one of the happiest days of our lives. We love photography and we are excited to have a really awesome and unique shot, featuring us, hanging on the wall in our home.

How important is photography to me on my wedding day?  And why?

Having a wedding photographer to capture my most special day, is the most important aspect to me.  It is the best way to immortalize the wedding day.  I am very big on taking pictures throughout my day to day life.  We look back at all of the fun time we share and relive all of the fun by looking through the photos.  Knowing that a professional wedding photographer will be there to capture the mood and energy of my wedding day makes me feel reassured.  We can relax knowing that we will have someone taking care of our precious memories.  It is also important to me that my friends and family don't have to be responsible for taking pictures of the wedding day, I would rather them live in the moment with us....(and lets be honest, my friends and family aren't professional photographers!)  I have a love for photography, I love to look up professional photographers and admire their work.  I myself would love to learn how they can bring the images to life the way they do.  I am marrying my best friend on January 25th 2012 and I can't wait to start the next part of our journey together.  Our wedding will be the first time we will ever have professional photos taken together, and I am so excited to have those memories to hold on to forever!

Wedding Photography is important to us for so many reasons, first off because I never thought I would see the day that I am getting married so I want these memories to be able to look at this day over and over again, second because my fiance is the one that wanted an actual wedding, it was very important to him to have these memories captured.  I wanted to just go to the justice of the peace and get married.  I love him so much that a wedding was not important to me.  Then I thought about being able to have my dad the first man to ever love me walk me down the aisle and I got excited about that.  I am the baby girl and my father has not gotten to give any of us away so it will be nice to have the memories of my dad giving me away.  We are very excited and we want the entire day to be photographed so we can look back at our wedding day and show our future children the day we got married.

After reading lots of reviews, forums, books, magazines, talking to friends about wedding planning, I realized that I place the most emphasis on importance on photography. It means so much to me to have lasting memories of our special day. The pictures will capture our love for each other, our families and our friends in a gorgeous setting. We want to show our children and our grandchildren our love for each other for years to come. I understand that after attending many weddings, they all seem to blur together. We do not want that. That is why having perfect pictures for us mean so much to us. We want to show our families, friends, the world the day that we tie the knot.

Please consider us. :) Much appreciated!

This is such a great opportunity! To my fiance and I photography is a top priority. We really want to make sure that all the important moments are captured along with all the candid moments. Fifty years from now when we are old and grey I want us to be able to look back at the amazing pictures of the most important day of our lives. We are blessed to have our immediate family and some friends joining us on our trip, but sadly there are many people that cannot make it.  It would mean the world to have amazing pictures to bring back to my grandmothers especially, and to all the aunts, uncles, cousin etc...  I love surrounding my home with photos of great memories as to me they are the real works of art and deserve to be framed and enjoyed everyday.  I want to be able to hang our favorite shots on our walls and have the rest in an album that can be enjoyed time and time again.  Thanks so much for the chance to win this amazing prize. Good luck to all! Keeping my fingers crossed ;)

Great photography not only captures images but feelings and emotions that will last forever. I want to be able to "relive" my wedding every time I look at the photos. The moment might be but a couple of hours but the photos and the memories they evoke will last a lifetime. Those pictures on the site are amazing!

Ever since I can remember I have always been in love with my grandparents wedding photos and I have known since then that I had to have the same awe inspiring photos that my grandparents did. I want photos that not only capture the moment but the feeling and spirit between my fiance and I. Years down the road I want our wedding photography to be something my children and grandchildren can look back on and know that was the moment that we committed to each other forever and began our true love story. Having a professional with true talent and an eye for capturing the best moments, the candid moments would be an honest blessing and we would be so grateful to be considered.

Thanks!
