My mostly DIY umbrella save the dates!

Forgive the mess in the background - too many projects going at once!  I had vistaprint print these, but the rest I did on my own.  I know the don't say save the date anywhere, but our return address labels do, and FI really wanted me to preserve the skyline in the background instead of covering it up with words.  I let him win that one.

Love the picture! How did you get such a cute umbrella that looks just like the umbrellas for tropical drinks? You really bring the destination wedding them to the picture. Nice job and congrats!

Thank you!  Actually that is a drink umbrella!  I poked a hole in the cardstock and then stuck one of those through, then taped it in the back.  So the umbrella part is 3D.  (And on that note, warning, if anyone else makes something like this, it's .90 to mail because the umbrella sticks out.)  Does that make sense?  You may be able to see what I mean if you look closely.

Nice job again! I haven't seen anything like that and think anyone who receives this (extra postage and all) will love it!
