Well, should we try??!! I am getting married at Azul Fives on Friday, October 25th! Ceremony in garden gazebo and am trying to decide whether to have the private reception on the beach or poolside (I am short, I'd like to wear shoes!) Does anyone have any comments on the pool or beach reception location? We just hired Citlalli Rico to be our photographer and am soooooo excited to use her! Her communication so far has been amazing. And I finally bought my wedding dress yetserday - that has been a tough choice! What's everyong have planned so far?

I am having a hard time figuring out shoes myself!  We are getting married on the beach, but having the reception by the pool. Do you know what you are doing for makeup yet?  I hired an outside DJ, videographer, and photographer, so I don't want to any anymore vendor fees!

Ohhh at least you can have an outside DJ! New rules are no outside vendors except the photographer!! I'm short so I dont like to go anywhere in a flat shoe, haha, I think we are going to do the poolside as well. Which videographer did you use? I am going to go with the spa for hair & makeup, and just make sure I either do a practice or leave pleny of time for fixes if need be! Pretty nerve wracking ha. I will be going before you so I can let you know how it works out! I am currently looking for inviations and bridesmaid dresses... it is not going well!!!

Really?! I hadn't heard of that rule. That is ridiculous!  I've seen some of their vendors work online and it is not the best quality (hence me outsourcing!!) I'm bringing my own videographer as well and just paying for the 3 nights.

 

I'm short too!  But, I also want to be comfortable so I can dance and have a good time

 

Please do keep me posted on your experience with the spa! I am using a vendor from Etsy for my save the dates and got my bridesmaids dresses from Dessy. 

 

Don't worry, it will all work out!  I have been on an emotional rollercoaster throughout all this planning, so I can feel your pain!
