Hi Ladies! So this my very first thread so disregard any mistakes haha! I sent my save the dates out a couple weeks of go and I wanted share them with you! There are so many BDW brides that gave me so much inspiration. Thank you for that!! So here we go.....

I really loved the idea of doing a travel theme for the save the dates and invites. While incorporating starfish and shells for a beach feel. I decided to do a luggage tag for the save the date and they were DIY!

Supplies....

Sage green linen paper

Off white linen paper

Spool of twine

Hole punch

paper cutter

Stamp of starfish and shells

ink pad of silver color

ink pad of light caramel color

10 sheets of clear adhesive labels size 81/2" x 11" (aka full page sticker)

Mounting tape roll

Adhesive magnet roll

I started by creating a text box with all the info I wanted to include and went through several drafts haha. Then I printed them out onto the clear sheet of adhesive. There were 4 to each page. Then I cut them all out.I then cut 4 x 6 boxes out of the 12 x12 sheet of green paper and cut out the off white sheets also 12x12 to the size of the text boxes.

So after an obscene amount of cutting I then stamped each off white box to create a scene in the back. The clear label that i cut out was then placed on the off white paper with the stamp coming through the words.I mounted the off white onto the sage green keeping it slightly to the left and cutting about 11/2 inches of the tape for each one.

I cut the edges of the green paper to get the luggage tag look and punched a hole. I strung twine through and cut the magnet roll and mounted that to the very back of the tag!

I included a 4x6 engagement photo to finish it off and I also stamped the back of the silver envelopes with the same starfish and shell stamp from the tag just a different color...

I am really happy with how they turned out and our guests loved them too! I hope I can inspire someone else as so many of you have inspired me! Thanks for checking it out!
