Catholic Weddings around Easter

Hi all,

I am in the early stages of planning and trying to figure out a time frame, as well as a resort! 

 

I would like to have a Catholic ceremony.  Does anyone know if Catholic weddings are easily booked during Easter week?  This would be the first week of April in 2013. I have read somewhere on these threads that during some holidays in the DR it's difficult to schedule a wedding because the whole country is on holiday.

 

I look forward to hearing from anyone who has booked a Catholic wedding and has inside info!  Happy planning, ladies!

Hi :) i am getting married the week before easter in DR. As far as I know he week of Easter catholic weddings are not a possibility. Starting from March 23, 2013. My advice is before booking the date in the resort, ask them to check with the priest before on the date , specially if it is around Easter.
