Wedding Dress Editing Program?!

Ugh so of course I fell in love with a dress that the store only had in a pink color. Loved it so much that I brought it and now I am just chomping at the bit to see what it would look like in white. I tried photobucket and paint the more obvious computer programs and they didnt work but is anyone aware of a program or app that allows me to upload a pic and edit it. ie: changing the color maybe adding a sleeve, something like that?

Its similar to Photoshop... but free

 

Photoshop being the best option but you have to ($700ish). .but you can download a trial (I think 30days)
