I think it would be great to get a forum going for brides who were mommys first. I had my first child a year ago and hope to include her in our wedding day. I'm looking for cute suggestions on how to include my daughter at my wedding!! :D

Our baby will be 18 months at our wedding and i'm trying to incorporate her into the wedding as well. she will be a little too small to be a solo flower girls so we are thinking of having my Fiancee's little cousin which will be almost 5 share a basket with our baby so they can both walk down the isle. Hopefully our idea works lol.

I had two 18 month old "flower girls" at my wedding.  They were adorable!!  One was my niece and the other is practically a niece.  Their parents carried them down the aisle (the parents stood up in the wedding) and it was super cute.

I also photographed a wedding in April last year with a 2 year old daughter.  She was so cute and although clumsy down the aisle, it was precious.  And just having her there for fun family photos was really amazing.

I am 31 and not married yet.

My FI and I decided to have a baby first because I refuse to get pregnant after 35...that's my cut off.

We discussed it and looking at the time frame...I will be 32 when were married...and assuming I get pregnant right away... I would be 33 for the first.  I would def need some time to adjust and not jump right into baby 2...so who knows.  If we waited I may not want to have a 2nd.

Honestly...the decision for baby first was best for us.  Plus we have the added bonus of sharing the day with her.  Also, I am def ready to have another after the wedding...so everything worked out.

My son will be 18 months...we're having him walk down the aisle with a sign that says,"Daddy, here comes your bride!" Flip it over on the way out to say "...and they lived happily ever after."
