I have ordered from DH Gate, including my wedding dress.... No issues.

Did you have a specific vendor that you used? It seems like the people who had issues were saying that the items they received were incorrect then the return process ended badly

Oh really --- I haven't heard anything bad.. I only know a few people that have used them.   I hope they all have no issues :)

I'm going to have to test it out by ordering something small and seeing how that works out before i attempt a major purchase. I'm all about saving some money...so I'm game

I have used different vendors, some items take quite a while to ship but China mail is complicated so unless you are paying for DHL - FedEx, UPS, allow yourself some extra time.

I have never had the need to return anything and as a matter of facts, I ordered some feathers and they returned the money to me because the item was buyer guarantee .(it must ship during certain time) I didn't even asked for a return so the email telling me of it surprised me.., my item still arrived today, together with 3 more packages. I have been ordering a bunch of things for the wedding.

A tip is to choose vendors that have a few reviews. The sellers don't get pay until your item arrives so that helps.

I had a case with a chandelier that it took many emails and maybe two weeks back and forth to refund me the money but it was entirely my fault, I  never reviewed the box when I received it because I was in the process of moving, 9  months down the road when I was finally installing the chandelier I realized it was the wrong voltage. They did not want to refund me because almost a year had passed... I still was patient and able to get my money back upon returning the item, they even refunded the cost of shipping to return.
