Any other 2014 brides here getting an early start?

Lets hear it for a late start! :eek:Can anyone give me info on booking at an all inclusive resort that will do a legal wedding on a Sunday ?? I've only found beaches t&c which seems too much for guest and beaches Jamaica which is too far from the airport, also sandals in Jamaica which is couples only, in need of serious help!! Trying for a june 2014 Sunday, no luck so far!

Awwe I hope yiu find something. I will check foe u. I'm at sandals in jamaica. I see u need a place to accommodate childern. One thing about beaches negril is not too far from airport and they do provide transportation to and from.

I too have some noj couples attending and some are 2 girls, 2 guys who have decided to share room to curb expenses. Their rational has been we don't give a damm about being in same room, opposite ends of bed, whatever. Lol. We probably will barely be in room other than shower or short nap. Lol

Congratulations on your engagement! Mexico has some very reasonable AIs. However, I checked out Mexican marriage laws, and it looks like there are no legal weddings in Mexico on Sundays. http://marriage.about.com/od/international/p/mexico.htm Have you tried getting in touch with a wedding planner in Jamaica? Or Turks and Caicos? They might have some good ideas about what possibilities are available.

Has anyone started on their STD/Invitations? I'm in the early planning stages and I'm trying to figure out what are you putting on the STD and invitations?

 

So far for my STD I have; a picture, date of the wedding, wedding website.

 

I'm thinking about my invitations and I'm kind of at a loss for what to include. I have an idea of design... but what specific deets should I put in there.

 

What do you guys think?

Get some sort of website and put it on your STD so your guests have an idea of what to expect as far as costs - 

I'm in the STD mode sorta, I won't send it out until a month or so lol

You really dont need any details other than the date so they can plan and a website with booking and other details, since nothing is set in stone yet you can update the website as it goes.

HiiiiiiiLadies I'm Baack and of course I had to jump right on here when I got home... suitcase is still in the living room but it can wait.....   only about 200 post to go though on here ... Not bad HAHHA   If I missed anything - sorry - I had a lot to read!

Hahaha - I hope you get them and I hope you like them... they do take a little figuring out at first - if you don't do them right they don't really save space.. but ones you get it down they are great!!

Thank You!  All was good!  Although my FI HATES flying - so now I have to send my TA a message and ask if there are other ways to get to St. Lucia without flying ... or at least flying all the way. . .   he want to take a cruise there - no idea how I'm going to make this happen but since it sounds fun I told him I'd see what I can come up with HAHA

Hmm that stinks - The original date I wanted happen to be on a Sunday -- I decided that I wanted my Location more and picked a new date... so I'm not much help on where you can go but I can tell you that St. Lucia is not an option for Sundays either

Have you tried a TA they can help you narrow down choices.
