Uneven number of groomsmen and bridesmaids

Due to a bridesmaid backing out we also have an uneven number. 3 groomsmen and 2 bridesmaids. We are not having them walk down the aisle together and for our head table we are just having the maid of honor and best man sit with us so the table is centered and even or else it bug me

I really don't think it's a big deal.  I've seen it done so many different ways - whatever works for you!

You will notice that the uneven number in each side of the wedding party is becoming much more common - especially in destination weddings where you are more likely to have someone who is unable to attend.  Not only will your photographer be able to come up with unique positioning for the photo sessions, but the ceremony only lasts about 30 minutes out of the day, so not to fret about the ceremony photos being "balanced".

Also, keep in mind that it's not about the even number, but about who you feel the most relaxed and comfortable with on your big day - those are the people that should be standing up there with you during your vows!

I have 3 bridesmaids and 1 groomsmen. At the wedding it won't be too bad because we have 2 little boys to stand on the men's side. I'm just worried about the seating at the reception. The head yable won't be centered. Any ideas?
