The supplies: Tulle - I bought 2 yards of the double wide stuff for $5 at FabricLand White thread Needle Sewing maching Scissors Comb - most people recommend the wire combs, but I prefer plastic because my hair is very fine and slippery. I bought this one at Ardene for less than $2 ALT=""http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/content/type/61/id/165591/width/350/height/700[/img] I'll wanted a fingertip length 1 tiered veil. So I started by cutting a square of tulle, I folded this in half and then folded the bottom up to make a triangle. I tried to take lots of pictures because I knew it would be hard to explain. I then cut along the traced line with the tulle still folded. Then, using the sewing machine on a straight stitch, at the longest stitch setting I sewed along the top (straight edge) without reverse stitching on either side. I then sewed over the gathered stitches, this time reversing on both ends to make sure it doesn't come undone. Next I took a long piece of scrap tulle and wrapped it around the top of my comb, one way, then back and tied the 2 ends. I cut off the extra hanging threads and flipped the veil over the top of the comb, then tried it on!
