Candlelight Dress- How to look less formal and how to get my groom to match! Help please!

Hi everyone,

 

I searched the forums and didn’t see anyone with my dress. I purchased Mori Lee #1664 in Candlelight. It’s in the ivory family, but the ivory in the Mori Lee satin was too yellow and the white was too stark white.

Now the dilemmas.  Since I chose a more formal looking dress for my beach wedding in Panama City, how do I get my groom to match? I was thinking of him in linen long pants and either a long sleeve or short sleeve linen type shirt. Should I go long sleeve so it looks more formal? Should I go ivory or white since my dress isn’t exactly ivory either? Should I go with more casual accessories so it looks less formal?
